  1. I agree with all you have said. My husband and I were polling agents and I believe we could pick out the No voters as they approached the Polling Station– just by their body language. The only caveat I would add is that I think there is celebrations going on behind closed doors. The smug, arrogant self congratulatory, celebrations that I can imagine in any secret society. Fanciful? Disquieting, yes.

    • Thank you for your comments. But that is but one more thing about Yes Scotland – we have been completely open with the public, with nothing hidden from view, whereas Bitter Together, because of their reliance on making things up and twisting facts, have been extremely secretive. So let them celebrate behind closed doors, while Yes continue to dance in the streets – and invite the public to join in.

    • Nice observation on those secret celebrations. Why oh why can’t ordinary folk see the way they are steered and stuffed.

  2. The only overt celebrations of the No gang, were the rioting and disorder of the O-O in George Square with their triumphalism and bully boy tactics.

I wonder if that lot are still controlled, as they were in NI?

I wonder what that lot would have done that Friday, had their been a Yes vote?

    • In all fairness, you cannot equate the overwhelming majority of No voters with the knuckle-draggers who attacked a peaceful demonstration with violent action. Nor Better Together for that matter, who to their credit went to lengths to distance themselves from that sort of mentality. That being said, it would have been nice to see BT come out with a public statement condemning such actions, which I do not believe they have yet done.

It has been ascertained that the attack was pre-planned and would have taken place regardless of the vote.
